REMOTE RECORDING
With the Covid-19 pandemic over the past year remote recording has become an increasingly popular alternative to recording in a studio. Through my home studio and equipment, I can record high-quality bass tracks and send them to you wherever you are in the world. The first step to this process is consultation, we'll discuss your vision for your project as a whole and then your expectations for the bass part, however specific or open you are with your vision for the bass part I always attempt to write a part which serves your music the best. MY GEAR
INSTRUMENTS
My instruments include two American made Fender basses, one Jazz style and one precision style. I also own an N.S design upright electric bass which is a great substitute for a double bass.
AMPS
My primary amplifier is an Ashdown Retroglide 800 which I pair with an Eden 4x10 cabinet. When remote recording I often input bass directly into my interface and use plugins within Logic Pro to create my bass tone.
LOGIC PRO
My prefered DAW is Logic Pro however I am familiar with other programs such as Cubase. Using a DAW with a midi keyboard allows me to underline bass lines using synth bass through plugins in Logic Pro.
